My client is rapidly growing and are seeking Cloud Platform Architects and Engineers specialising in Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform, with strong platform design and CI/CD expertise to join their Digital practice in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. You’ll be joining a dynamic team of consultants and will be working with mid-size to enterprise-scale IT environments focusing on the design, implementation and management of cloud products and platforms including hybrid and cloud-native environments. You will also be working with the sales team in providing technical pre- and post-sales support.

Skills and experience 

• Extensive commercial and hands-on design, engineering and consulting experience in providing cloud platform services
• Solid experience with DevOps practices and Azure
• Experience in solution design and implementation of Azure based services, including IaaS, PaaS and serverless offerings
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, a knack for problem solving and a passion for ensuring clients receive exceptional quality of service is a must.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services desirable
• Operational experience in cloud-based environments an advantage
• Hands on experience of containers and container orchestration in production environments an advantage
• Experience with a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services
