(TM984) Microsoft ERP Sales Executive

Auckland & Wellington | $170,000.00 - 200,000.00 Per Annum

My client seeks Microsoft ERP Sales Executive with a strong sales focus and successful track record of cloud ERP software sales.

The successful candidate will ensure they continue to drive ERP software sales to organisations across various industries including (but not exclusively) to Enterprise Manufacturing, FMCG, Wholesale Distribution, and Asset Intensive organisations.

They are seeking an experienced ERP sales professional with a proven track record in achieving targets whilst considering your personal reputation for successful customer engagements. You will be deeply imbedded in the local business networks and ready to be an advocate.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ability to hunt new prospects, leverage your network and generate opportunities from your connections
  • Adept at executing sales opportunities from qualification to leads through to signed deals across a myriad of solution partners with high energy, dedication and focus on meeting your target
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients and prospective clients
  • Ability to engage at c-level within prospect organisations
  • Using a consultative approach to selling solutions and services in a long-term complex solution sales process
  • Working with our business development team in demand generation and campaign activities, generating and qualifying leads and opportunities
  • Working closely with our vendors to build strong relationships, uncover opportunities and close them together
  • Being able to work well within a team and to travel within New Zealand, as required.

The successful applicant will:

  • Experienced track record with ERP cloud solution selling with Microsoft, or similar enterprise ERP solutions
  • Proven ERP sales success with complex process manufacturing organisations is an advantage. Perhaps you have previously worked for a on-premise or cloud ERP partner/reseller and looking for that cultural change working with the leading Microsoft partner in the market
  • Alternatively have experience in the complex ERP Cloud solution selling space coming from solutions such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, TechOne, Epicor, Infor etc
  • Have extensive experience in business software selling, primarily in ERP, with the networks to support this
  • A self-starter with the hunger to achieve results autonomously
  • Possess excellent communication skills (both written and interpersonal) with a professional consultative approach
  • Have strong business acumen and present well
  • Be energetic, enthusiastic, driven and tenacious with the natural desire to achieve in a competitive climate
